Three ancient cities in one day: the colonnaded streets and stadium of Perge, the best-preserved Roman theatre in Asia Minor at Aspendos, and the Temple of Apollo by the sea in Side. A route for anyone who wants more than the beach and is after real history.
Languages: Russian, English, Turkish, German, Ukrainian
How it works
We start at Perge — walking the marble colonnade along the ancient water channel, past the agora, the baths and the long stadium. Then Aspendos: its Roman theatre for 15,000 spectators survives almost intact, opera festivals are still held there, and the acoustics are tested with a coin dropped on the stage. After lunch comes Side: the agora, the ancient theatre and the Temple of Apollo right by the water, the city's signature view. A Russian-speaking guide leads the whole day.

Reviews
June 2026
A treat for history lovers. The theatre at Aspendos has survived astonishingly well; the guide dropped a coin on the stage and you could hear it in the top rows. Perge and its stadium impressed us too.

An excellent tour, but a lot of walking in the open sun and by lunchtime we were tired. A hat and water are essential. It would be hard for small children.
